Ly Tran Quynh Giang

Artist Story
The haunting appeal of Giang’s painting is obvious. The strokes are powerful and the underlying message seems eerily silent. The expression of pain loneliness, derived from those deep large eyes and bony fingers. Giang wishes to express her inner pain in a simple and straightforward manner – no pretension, ostentation or rebellion, but in silent acceptance – without soliciting comfort or sympathy from the viewer.
